Hey everybody,
I think we're making good progress with the video and our media outreach. Unfortunately, we're kind of in the prep-phase so I think it is important for us to continue to be involved with the rest of the class. I want to implore y'all to let your voice be heard in the classroom when we discuss who to select (after all, we will be spending a lot of time following up with this person).
I've been trying to think of more original ways to attack the media outlets. I think if we made personal phone calls and even tried to set up face-to-face meetings, some of these places might take us seriously.
Anyone have more creative ideas?
I think maybe a good way to get different media is to actually go to the source itself. Because it shows intiave. Also it's harder to say no to an actual person then an email(if that makes sense)
ReplyDeleteThere is a freshman named desman who's dad has a segment on npr. I think it would be a good idea to get in contact with him and maybe have him talk about the project on air.
ReplyDeleteWe could possibly draft some articles to send to local newspapers like the pasadena star news or the outlook.
ReplyDeleteJojo has a really good local idea that I think you should try to follow through on..the outlook shouldn't be too difficult to reach and the project is based from a Pasadedian's ideas!
