Group 1 update

Yesterday we presented the video to the school in morning meeting. Do you guys feel as if people understood the project? Should we continue to make announcements in morning meeting?
We plan to post flyers with the logo we created around the school this week.
Should an email be sent asking the school if they have any questions and listing the members of our English class?

  1. I think people understand the project sort of, but we should definitely continue to make announcements because it was a big announcement and I think people need to be reminded.
Maybe in one of those other announcements we can put up a slide with everyone's names and say that if anyone has questions, they can ask those people?

  2. High-schoolers are forgetful. I think we need to make an announcement accompanied by a slide giving more detail about what we are looking for, in a philanthropic sense. I think another follow up email would be a great idea. Would y'all be adverse to entertaining the idea of maybe another video in the middle of the week, a longer more detailed one about the project?

  3. I don't think they understood it very well if they did. I think we need to keep bringing it up as Oran stated. I'm also curious as to if we got any applications yet? I suppose that question is better suited for group 2.

  4. I thought it was okay, but that's coming from someone who was already fully aware of the project. So really, I don't think they really "got it" until the announcement was made after. I agree with the previous comments on continuously advertising the project.
